Why is there a need for our workshops?
Research indicates that young people leave school needing to understand budgeting, spending, saving and the risks of borrowing. Our workshops support you personal development curriculum and help pupils build the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need for later life.
Designed to complement PHSE, Maths and Carers education, our sessions are fully aligned with Ofsted's expectations that schools prepare pupils for adult life and provide a broad, balanced and meaningful life-skills programme.

Empowering students with the real-world skills they'll actually use
Our workshops give pupils a clear, practical understanding of money and the financial decisions they will face as they move towards adulthood. We break down big concepts into engaging, relatable activities that helps students feel confident, capable and prepared.
What students will learn
A practical, interactive session covering:
- How to manage money and create a realistic budget
- Payslips, tax, National Insurance and the basics of working life
- Saving, interest and long term financial habits
- Understanding credit, loans and debt - and how to avoid common traps.
- Planning for real-life living costs (housing, transport, food, bills)
- Everyday financial traps such as 'buy now pay later', social media spending habits and scams.
These workshops directly support your school's personal development curriculum and align with Ofsted expectations for preparing pupils for adult life. Parts of the workshop will also improve mathematics delivery especially on concepts such as negative numbers (linked to content delivery of overdrafts and compound interest relevant to savings).

- 3 visit package - 3 half day visits to cover array of different year groups which can be embedded into your curriculum
